With its season 9 finale, “The Walking Dead” managed to rebound from its penultimate episode’s series low 1.5 rating in adults 18-49, back up four-tenths to a 1.9 with 5.02 million viewers this time around.[Ordered Series New By To Amsterdam NBC]
Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” came second in the night, and maintained its previous 0.8 once again.Outside of the top 25, both Showtime’s “Billions” (0.2) and Starz’s “American Gods” (0.1) matched their episodes from the week before.
On the Discovery Channel, “Alaskan Bush People” ticked up one-tenth to a 0.5, and “Naked and Afraid” stayed even with back-to-back 0.4s.The finale of HBO’s “The Case Against Adnan Syed,” however, slipped from a 0.2 to a 0.1.[April TV Calendar].
While that’s a strong week-to-week uptick, and makes it the show’s highest-rated episode since its midseason premiere back in February, it is also “The Walking Dead’s” lowest-rated season finale to date.
